Henley - Heathrow - Singapore - Sydney

Best Meze in UK, Henley on Thames. Very pretty town too, only 30min drive from Heathrow.


Transit in Singapore, iPhone out of juice? No problem, free charging stands in the Terminal, put your phone inside, plug in and take the key. Come back later.

West Country and Cornwall

Last week in UK and John and I planned to do a big drive from Manchester down out to the West Country, Cornwall, then Eastbourne to pick up my bag and then finally onto Heathrow.

We'd given ourselves 3 days and booked in our favourite Premier Inn hotels. Basically Ibis type hotels, car parking, and a standard clean room.

Recommend the Eyewitness and AA British Backroads Driving tour guidebooks. Excellent drives with lots of great info.
