West Country and Cornwall

Last week in UK and John and I planned to do a big drive from Manchester down out to the West Country, Cornwall, then Eastbourne to pick up my bag and then finally onto Heathrow.

We'd given ourselves 3 days and booked in our favourite Premier Inn hotels. Basically Ibis type hotels, car parking, and a standard clean room.

Recommend the Eyewitness and AA British Backroads Driving tour guidebooks. Excellent drives with lots of great info.

Polperro, highly recommended fishing village. Very pretty.
