Lyon 10 june
Lyon from the new side of town, looking back to the old town.
Our 1 hour search for Chanel, in vain, cos it doesn't exist! Love the tram lines though.
The big stair climb up to the Cathedral.
Nearly there.
The view was worth the walk!
Possibly the most ornate church yet.
Yes, that is a Zara bag. We got a French phone too, the language lessons are coming in very handy.
Lyon has much ancient Roman remains. I adore mosaics and these are some of the most well preserved and finest I have seen.
Roman Amphitheaters have glorious views of the city and are used even today for festivals.
